Space Air wins at the NHPA
The 1st National Heat Pump Awards held 23rd June at the ICC Birmingham, proved to be very successful evening for Space Air. The Guildford based Daikin distributor was nominated under 3 categories; Air Source Commercial Project of the year – in conjunction with Paul Kenney Air Conditioning, Public Sector Project of the Year – working with Southern Counties Heating & Plumbing and Consultant of the year – in conjunction with Camco Global, our hopes were high.
Space Air & Paul Kenney won the Commercial Project category, the Judges commented “This was an excellent application of an R22 direct replacement VRVQ commercial air source heat pump, providing all necessary heating & cooling to the building and allowing maximum use of original infrastructure to replace an existing R407C system.”
The public sector project of the year submitted - ‘Stonepit Lane’ a 1930’s 3 bed refurbishment project with funding and continuous monitoring by the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) was highly commended. In addition the Manufacturer Daikin Europe N.V won the category Product Innovation for their latest Daikin Altherma Flex air source central heat pump system.
